Hortense Beaussant is a bioinformatics engineer in the “Integrated Genomics in Pediatric Oncology” research group at Gustave Roussy. She joined the team in December 2025 where she works on cancer genomics, with a focus on tumor evolution and cancer relapse.
She trained as an engineer at ESPCI Paris and later specialized in bioinformatics at Sorbonne University. During her internships, she worked on the integration of single-cell RNA sequencing datasets of zebrafish at CZ Biohub, and studied the regulation of the STMN2 gene in ALS-FTD in Clotilde Lagier-Tourenne’s lab, at MGH and Harvard Medical School.
